Temperature of Black Holes

A black hole has a thermodynamic temperature:

Black holes are usually fed by an accretion disk of superheated gas and plasma. As this plasma swirls around at near the speed of light, it acts as a massive dynamo, generating incredibly powerful magnetic fields. The spinning black hole itself can drag space-time around with it (frame-dragging), twisting these magnetic field lines into tight, powerful coils that shoot massive jets of radiation across the universe.

Because the empty space of the universe is warmed by the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) to 2.7 Kelvin, all black holes are currently absorbing far more energy from space than they are radiating away. Their native quantum temperature is entirely masked by the universe's background warmth.

Kinetic Energy of a Protium

The energy of a hydrogen atom:

The ground-state kinetic energy of a hydrogen atom = +13.6 eV.

Combining both kinetic plus potential energy

Overall total energy of a Protium atom:

The absolute value of the potential energy is exactly twice as much as the kinetic energy contained inside a hydrogen atom! Is that a pure coincidence or a significant consequence?

Dirac's Constant ℏ

The "reduced" Planck constant:

The Planck constant h (units J⋅s) is a fundamental physical quantity that relates the energy of a photon to its frequency:

E = h⋅f

The "reduced" Planck constant ℏ ("h-bar" or Dirac's Constant) is another constant defined simply as h divided by 2π. It is commonly used in formulae relating to angular frequency where ω = 2πf measured in rad/s. Eliminating the extra 2π factors from momentum equations makes them cleaner & simpler. So the ℏ (units also J⋅s) is used primarily for mathematical convenience and efficiency in quantum calculations.

German Income Tax

Income Tax Rules for 2026:

Total income in Germany is liable to:

  • Tax free threshold = €12'348 (for a single person) p.a.
  • Social Security Contributions: single persons pay roughly 20% of their gross salary toward mandatory state insurances.
  • Solidarity Surcharge (Soli): a 5.5% tax on your actual income tax liability.

German income tax uses a progressive system where rates range from 14%∼45% depending on your total annual income based on this table:

Salary Range: Applicable Tax Rate:
<  € 12'348 0 %
€ 12'349 - € 17'799 14 % → rising ...
€ 17'800 - € 69'878 → ... progressively upto 42 %
€ 69'879 - € 277'825* 42 %
>  € 277'825 45 %
*GK

NB: These percentages apply to your taxable income (gross income minus social security contributions, the €1'230 employee lump-sum deduction, and other tax write-offs), not your raw gross salary.

When submitting your annual tax returns, a single person can declare the following tax allowances and flat rates:

  • Employee Flat Rate (Arbeitnehmerpauschbetrag): € 1'230 per year for work-related expenses
  • Saver’s Lump Sum concerning bank interest (Sparer-Pauschbetrag): € 1'000 for single
  • Instructor Allowance (Übungsleiterpauschale): € 3'300 per year for side-income from teaching, training, or coaching
  • Volunteer Allowance (Ehrenamtsfreibetrag): € 960 per year for voluntary work in a non-profit

Properties of electrons

Quantifiable measurements:

The "Mean Free Path" (Ʌel) is the average distance that the particle travels until it collides with another particle. This property indicates the electrical conductivity or metallic resistance! The lower this value, the worst the conductivity & higher the resistance of that material.

Stay curious, ask the right question!

Change the question:

" Not how can he do this! Did he really do that? Who said he did it? Why did they say so? "

The Atomic Number

Electric charge of Atoms:

The atomic number of an element (Z) denotes the number of protons (p+) in its core which distinguishes it chemically with unique properties. It designates the charge number of the nucleus and varies from 1 to 118.

Neutrons (n0) help stabilize the atomic nucleus by contributing to the strong nuclear force that holds protons together, counteracting the electrical repulsion between positively charged protons. The neutrons particles help the positively charged protons to co-exist in the core of an atom without repelling each other.

Adding or removing neutrons does not affect the overall electrical charge of an atom in any way. Instead that’s influenced by the number of protons vs the number of electrons which the atom possesses in total.

Stable atoms usually have a correspondingly equal number of electrons (e-) surrounding the core, thereby making the atom electrically neutral overall. Deviation in the number of electrons (resulting from chemical bonding or ionization due to radiation) affects the electric charge of atoms.

" Electrons determine electrical charge; neutrons help determine nuclear stability! "

Different Isotopes:

Different isotopes of atoms have varying number of neutrons particles in their core. The atomic number of protons is constant. It’s all about the various number of neutrons inside the atom!

Atonement is the road to redemption

Agency:

" Veracity of an apology depends on these four "R"s! "

Atonement is accomplished through an atoning sacrifice or work, while redemption is received or appropriated by the individual through faith and response.

Atonement is the act of repairing a wrong, paying a spiritual or moral debt, or purifying guilt. It covers the cost or sacrifice required to reconcile a broken relationship.

Redemption means buying back, rescuing, or setting someone free from bondage, slavery, or the penalty of guilt. It is the actual result or experience of being delivered into a new status of freedom and safety.

Atonement is the means or price paid, whereas redemption is the result or the state of being liberated. Atonement makes redemption possible!

Lyrics:

Filling Up Orbitals

Number of electrons per layer:

The heaviest naturally-occurring element Uranium (atomic number Z = 92) has 32 electrons in its 4th energy level the N shell. By contrast, Silicon (atomic number 14) has the maximum number of 2 electrons in its K shell, 8 in its L shell, but only 4 out of a possible 18 electrons in its outermost M shell. These outer electrons are also called valence electrons and it is these electrons that can be made to migrate from atom to atom when an electric current flows through the silicon.

The formula to calculate the maximum electron capacity per orbital = (\(2n^{2}\))

Orbital Layer (n) Shell Name Max. nr of e- = 2n2 Total nr of e- per atom
1 K 2 2
2 L 8 10
3 M 18 28
4 N 32 60
5 O 50* (theoretical) 110
6 P 72 (unrealistic)
7 Q 98 (inexisting)

* Even in the heaviest confirmed element on the periodic table which is man-made and decays in a fraction of a millisecond - Oganesson (atomic number Z = 118) - the 5th shell only holds 32 electrons. To reach 50, an atom needs to start putting electrons into the 5g sublevel (which holds the remaining 18 electrons). An element would need an atomic number of 121 or higher to begin placing electrons into the 5g sublevel. Because elements that heavy are highly unstable and have not yet been successfully synthesized in a lab, a completely full 5th shell remains purely theoretical.

The electron configuration for a neutral Scandium (\(Sc\)) atom is \(1s^2 \, 2s^2 \, 2p^6 \, 3s^2 \, 3p^6 \, 4s^2 \, 3d^1\)

Electron Mass

How can an electron have mass but no volume?

" Mass and physical volume are completely uncoupled at the subatomic level! "

In quantum physics, mass is not a measure of "stuff" filling a 3D space, but a fundamental property of energy and interactions.

Quantum Sizes:

  • Electron diameter = approximately 10-18 ~ 10-22 m.
  • Proton diameter = approximately 1.68×10-15 m.

An electron achieves mass without volume through two core principles:

  1. The Higgs Mechanism: The electron constantly interacts with the universal Higgs field. This interaction creates inertia (a resistance to acceleration) which physics defines as mass. Mass is a property born of this interaction, not physical size.
  2. Energy-Mass Equivalence (E=mc2): Einstein proved that mass and energy are interchangeable. An electron possesses a localized rest energy of 0.511 MeV. Because it holds this energy, it inherently possesses mass.

Furthermore, while the electron itself is a point particle, its quantum wavefunction "smears" its energy and charge over space, creating a physical presence without needing a solid physical boundary.

proton:

The rest mass of a proton is 938 MeV {≈ 1.7×10⁻²⁷ kg} with a diameter of about 1.68×10-15 m.

A proton is a composite particle made of three quarks, but if you add up the individual masses of those quarks (which they get from the Higgs field), they only account for about 1% of the proton's total mass.

The remaining 99% of a proton’s mass is generated by Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD) binding energy:

  • The Strong Force: Inside the proton, gluons are constantly flying back and forth, binding the quarks together with incredible force.
  • Kinetic and Potential Energy: This intense traffic creates a massive amount of kinetic and binding energy localized inside the proton.
  • Energy to Mass: According to Einstein's E=m·c2, this trapped, churning energy manifests itself externally as the physical mass of the proton.

electron:

An electron is a point particle which has no dimension, no size, no volume. It possesses a localized rest energy of 0.511 MeV. Because it holds this energy, it inherently possesses mass.

photon:

Whereas a photon of light is pure energy because it has no rest mass! A photon can never be at rest; it must always travel at the speed of light (c). Its energy is derived entirely from its momentum and frequency (E=h·f), rather than a static mass.

How to defend & defuse

Strategy against shared ideology:

Electron Position

Probability Cloud:

The probability distribution for an electron cloud is a mathematical model that shows where an electron is likely to be found around an atomic nucleus.

Due to the wave–particle duality of quantum matter, an electron can simultaneously behave as both a tiny physical particle (of mass = 9.1×10−31 kg) and an extended wave depending on how the observer measures its property.

According to the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle, you cannot simultaneously know an electron's exact position and its momentum. Therefore we must adopt the probabilistic view of the electron's location surrounding the atomic nucleus.

The Bohr radius {5.3×10−11 m} is a physical constant, approximately equal to the most probable distance between the nucleus and the electron in a hydrogen atom in its ground state.
